California Sustainable Winegrowing Ambassador Course

About this Course

What it Covers

Sustainable winegrowing has been widely adopted in California where the state's winegrape growers and vintners have a long-term commitment to practices that protect the soil, air and water and benefit communities and employees. The purpose of this course is to provide wine professionals and interested consumers with an opportunity to learn about the dynamic sustainability movement in California wine. Once successfully completed, course participants will have a clear understanding of sustainable winegrowing practices used in California vineyards and wineries and be able to share information with others.

This free, one-hour course includes modules on: California Wine, Sustainable Winegrowing Terms & Definitions, Sustainable Viticulture, Sustainable Winemaking and Employees & Communities. It concludes with a 25-question test, which is only accessible after all lessons have been read. You may logout and return to the lessons and/or test at any time.
